Happy 9 years, Anna!

 Anna is NINE!

Weight: 78 lb 9.6 oz (82.8%)
Height: 4' 6.65" (79.8%)

Clothing: 10/12

Shoes: size 3

Likes: playing with friends, imagining, caring for babies, listening to stories and and dancing to music on her Yoto, snuggling and reading a story

An Anna Day:

7:00am Anna is usually the second kid down, but usually wakes up early and loves to start her day with a snuggle. She doesn't usually want to put effort into eating, but enjoys making toast.

Morning: Anna likes being with people, and she doesn't not like a check list. Once she slowly, but surely, gets ready for the day, she likes to play with Lydia or the neighbors. During the school year she is good about getting started on her schoolwork.

Lunch: Anna likes top-notch leftovers and fold over sandwiches with as little as possible on them. She inherited a major sweet tooth!

Afternoon: Time for chores around the house and playing outside. The best afternoons are spent with friends.

Dinner: Anna always has strong opinions about what we have for dinner, but generally eats anything slowly. Her focus tends to be on relationships more than the food.

7:00pm: Anna gets to read or listen to stories until 8:00pm now, and she generally falls right to sleep!

How we celebrated:
Anna had a party with the Cook side of the family while we were in TN the week before her birthday that featured a strawberry mermaid cake. On her birthday, she had breakfast with mom and dad at Antilogy, a local brunch spot. We went to the library for craft time in the Maker Space, then had family lunch at Chick-fil-A. When we got home the neighbors joined us for a fairy themed cake. Her particular friend, Tessa, got to spend the night. They enjoyed rainbow dinner, extra TV time, and yummy treats.

Fun Facts:
- Anna learned to type this year
- She was part of her first theatre show . . . Aladdin!
- Her reading fluency has really taken off!
